“Caring” Sculpture©

“Caring” is two separate figures that interlock in a tender pose of love and support. When separated and placed in a limitless number of relational positions, the figures rapidly bring to light the state of a relationship. In couple’s therapy, this piece can quickly reveal dual perceptions about a relationship or facilitate a deep response to seeing a “holding” of one another through the pieces. It is also often seen as the nurturing relationship between healer and client, used by healers as a reminder to nurture themselves in the course of their work, or depicts an individual’s ability to hold compassion for self. Hand made in Greece of Pentili Marble dust.
